I came across this on the Today’s Parent website. You can upload a pic and get a customized cover for the December issue. So I did. This is a pic S took this weekend. It was our first family trip to a park. C was too small for the swings and slides and seesaws, but she was just perfect for flying through the summer sky.

Today, C rolled over for the first time. We were doing some tummy time (which she hates) and I started teasing her, enticing her over with her jingly toy I call Kicky the Cow. Actually, I named all her jingly toys Kicky. She only likes to kick at them with her feet and does not like to touch them with her hands. My kid is weird that way, what can I say.
Anyhoo, Mama put the toy just far enough out of her vision that she looked high up and ended up flipping over on her back. Mission accomplished!
But now I’m wondering why I did that. Now I’ll never be able to leave her on the bed while I go and dress… or tidy up… or throw a load of laundry in… or or or…!
